Last week Archimedes Design was invited out to Werewolf Ranch in Grass Valley California for a weekend of weddings.
Werewolf Ranch is a 35 acre permaculture homestead raising sheep, goats, ducks, and chickens in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Located on the historic Wolf Creek, the property offers rolling oak savannah landscapes and an abundance of wildlife diversity.
It is an absolutely magical place to tie the knot. Equipped to accommodate 50-120 guests, Werewolf Ranch is the perfect place for an intimate ceremony and reception.
The ceremony space is located under a picturesque Valley Oak, with the serene Wolf creek seen in the background. The receptions are be held at a number of places on the 35 acre homestead, including the lawn in front of the Big Red Barn.
They also feed your guests the freshest food possible by serving a farm to table meal at your event. The ranch can provide your caterers with delicious, organically grown produce, honey, and grass-fed lamb.
Called the Howl Festival, last weekend was a three day event of a group of close friends that featured three separate ceremonies to tie the knot. It featured three of our domes to house the wedding festivities in. The red Rose Tea House, The White Rose Lounge, and the Lumi Dome.
The setup days were wonderful, as more friends and lovely humans rolled in. The domes went up, adding little pockets of brightness to the beautiful landscape, set and ready for people to add art and build bars and lounges for the festivities.
Working with a host of other festival producers, all of the spaces were activated spectacularly, going up bit by bit with the help of happy volunteers.
As setup days finished and night rolled in, people ate amazing food, chatted and prepared for the exciting weekend to come.
It would be a weekend of beautiful wedding goodness, and we couldn't be more thrilled to be included in this event.
